Great openings to life.

European-engineered windows, sliding doors, skylights and entry systems — for residences of distinction.

The opening as architecture

There is a moment in every fine home when the wall ends and the view begins.

The frame, the glass, the seal, the hardware — the system that holds that moment is rarely discussed and never accidental. Mevalta exists for that moment.

We specify, supply and install European-engineered window, sliding door, skylight and entry systems for residences where the brief asks for serious work. One material language across every elevation; one point of contact from first drawing to final handover.

Design principles

Four ideas every Lens Series product is built around.

i

Narrow sightline

Frame recedes, glass remains. Sightlines sized to disappear at viewing distance, so the architecture reads as light — not as line.

ii

Engineered, not asserted

Fiberglass-reinforced thermal breaks and multi-chamber construction, certified to European residential standards before it is offered to the home.

iii

Sealed for silence

Dual EPDM seals and automotive-grade compression. The weather and the world stay outside; the room remains the room.

iv

Hardware that disappears

Concealed hinges, flush plates, integrated drainage. Every touchpoint resolved the first time the door is opened — and the ten-thousandth.

The Lens Series

One architectural family, across every opening.

Our flagship collection — windows, sliding doors, skylights and entry systems sharing one hardware family and one visual language.

Mevalta window systems

Window systems · Eight typologies

Windows

From the curtain-wall span that should read as glass and sky, to the slim profile sized for period renovation — eight window systems within a single hardware family. Frame widths from 70 to 168 mm, thermal performance to K ≤ 1.8 W/m²K.

Mevalta sliding door systems

Sliding systems · Up to 120 kg / leaf

Sliding Doors

For the moment a living room releases to a garden. Lift-and-slide and heavy-slider systems engineered to disappear into the wall, not announce themselves — dual-track carriages and slim sashes that take the geometry off the elevation.

Skylights

For residences that are top-lit by design. Sliding, push-out and ultra-narrow skylights with laminated low-E glazing for thermal performance and overhead safety — daylight without a heavy frame line interrupting the ceiling plane.

Mevalta entry doors and sunrooms

Entry doors & sunrooms · Held to the same standard

Doors & Sunrooms

The first room of the house. Principal entry doors with multi-point security and hardware rated to 500 kg, architectural sidelights resolved as one piece of joinery, and sunroom systems engineered to the same standard as the windows around them.

The frame, in section

Engineered, not asserted.

Every Lens Series profile is a multi-chamber aluminium extrusion carrying a fibreglass-reinforced PA66GF25 thermal break and dual EPDM seals — the engineering that holds the room at the temperature the architect intended, resolved in section long before it reaches the elevation.

Performance

Six measures of a serious system.

Every Lens Series product is proven in the laboratory before it is offered to the home — certified to European residential standards across acoustic, thermal and structural performance.

35 dB
Acoustic
Independently tested sound reduction, bringing city traffic to the threshold of audibility.
K ≤ 1.8
Thermal insulation
U-values on flagship windows — argon-filled, low-E double glazing as standard.
Thermal performance
To three times conventional aluminium framing, through PA66GF25 fibreglass-reinforced breaks.
Class 9
Wind load
Engineered for exposed coastal sites, high-rise residential, and the elevations that ask for it.
Class 8
Air-tightness
Through dual EPDM seal lines and factory-set compression hardware.

Opening typologies
Fixed, casement, tilt-and-turn, sliding, lift-and-slide, push-out — one hardware family.

The studio

A studio for the openings of the principal home.

Mevalta was founded on a single observation — that in homes built to the highest standards of finish, the openings are almost always the system that lets the architecture down. Loose seals, cheap profiles, hardware that ages in a season. We exist to close that gap.

We are a small studio. We take on a limited number of projects, each run through a single point of contact and supported, after handover, by the same team that installed it. We are interested in the homes that will still be photographed in twenty years.

The engagement

How a Mevalta project moves.

01

Consultation

We review the drawings, the elevations and the brief — and where the openings will define the architecture.

02

Specification

The right systems selected from the Lens Series, coordinated to one material language across every opening.

03

Supply & install

European-engineered systems delivered and fitted by the team that will stand behind them.

04

Aftercare

Supported, after handover, by the same studio — for the life of the home, not the length of the warranty.
